Yes, every article on your site can be set as either published or unpublished.
To ensure the article remains "private" (or unlisted), during the article creation process, navigate to the settings and select your preference under the option, for example, "Not published on site".
In this way, if you do not publish the article on the site, it will only be accessible to you and to the people with whom you directly share the link to that article.
